     Sir Francis Boynton, 2nd Bt. was born circa 1618.¹ He was the son of Sir Matthew Boynton, 1st Bt. and Frances Griffith.¹ He married Constance Fiennes, daughter of William Fiennes, 1st Viscount Saye and Sele and Elizabeth Temple, on 7 March 1637.¹ He died on 9 September 1695.² He was buried on 16 September 1695 at Barmston, Yorkshire, England^G.²
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Boynton, of Barmston, co. York [E., 1618] circa March 1646/47.¹ On 20 February 1654 he succeeded to the estate of Burton Agnes, on the death of his maternal uncle, Sir Henry Griffith, 2nd Bt.¹ He gained the rank of Colonel in 1665 in the Regiment of Militia.¹

     Sir Henry Griffith, 2nd Bt. was the son of Sir Henry Griffith, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Throckmorton.¹ He married Margaret Wortley, daughter of Sir Francis Wortley, 1st Bt. and Grace Brouncker. He died on 20 February 1654.¹
     He gained the title of 2nd Baronet Griffith.

     Constance Fiennes was the daughter of William Fiennes, 1st Viscount Saye and Sele and Elizabeth Temple.^1,2 She married Sir Francis Boynton, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Matthew Boynton, 1st Bt. and Frances Griffith, on 7 March 1637.¹ She died circa August 1692.² She was buried on 2 September 1692 at Barmston, Yorkshire, England^G.²
     From 7 March 1637, her married name became Boynton.¹

     Elizabeth Temple was the daughter of John Temple and Susan Spencer.^1,2 She married William Fiennes, 1st Viscount Saye and Sele, son of Richard Fiennes, 1st Baron Saye and Sele and Constance Kingsmill, circa 1602.³ She died in 1648.³
     From circa 1602, her married name became Fiennes.

     Christopher Speckert was the son of Dr. Xavier Speckert.¹

     Lt.-Col. William Boynton was the son of Sir Francis Boynton, 2nd Bt. and Constance Fiennes.¹ He married Elizabeth Bernard, daughter of John Bernard.¹ He died in August 1689.¹

     Elizabeth Bernard is the daughter of John Bernard.¹ She married Lt.-Col. William Boynton, son of Sir Francis Boynton, 2nd Bt. and Constance Fiennes.¹
     Her married name became Boynton.¹

     John Bernard held the office of Alderman of Kingston-upon-Hull.¹

     Sir Griffith Boynton, 3rd Bt. was born on 8 December 1664 at Burton Agnes, Yorkshire, England^G.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. William Boynton and Elizabeth Bernard.¹ He married, firstly, Adriana Sykes, daughter of John Sykes and Anne Reymes, in 1712 at Chamlesford, Yorkshire, England^G.¹ He married, secondly, Rebecca White, daughter of John White and Jane Williamson, in November 1728 at London, England^G.¹ He died on 22 December 1731 at age 67 at Ormond Street, London, England^G, without issue.¹ He was buried at Burton Agnes, Yorkshire, England^G.¹ His will was proven (by probate) in April 1732.¹
     He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Boynton, of Barmston, co. York [E., 1618] on 9 September 1695.¹

     Adriana Sykes was born circa 1655.¹ She was the daughter of John Sykes and Anne Reymes.² She married Sir Griffith Boynton, 3rd Bt., son of Lt.-Col. William Boynton and Elizabeth Bernard, in 1712 at Chamlesford, Yorkshire, England^G.¹ She died on 19 November 1724 at Pall Mall, London, England^G.¹ She was buried at Burton Agnes, Yorkshire, England^G.¹
     From 1712, her married name became Boynton.¹
