Sir Francis Boynton, 2nd Bt.1 
He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Boynton, of Barmston, co. York [E., 1618] circa March 1646/47.1 On 20 February 1654 he succeeded to the estate of Burton Agnes, on the death of his maternal uncle, Sir Henry Griffith, 2nd Bt.1 He gained the rank of Colonel in 1665 in the Regiment of Militia.1
