     He was educated at Radley College, Abingdon, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹ He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He was Aide-de-Camp to the Governor of Assam between 1938 and 1940.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the East Yorkshire Regiment.¹ He was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.)¹ He was Intelligence Staff, Control Commission between 1945 and 1948 at Germany^G.¹ He was British Consulate to Stuttgart in 1970.¹ He lived in 2003 at 9 College Street, Stratford-on-Avon, Warwickshire, England^G.¹

     Iris Daphne Phipson is the daughter of Colonel Edward Selby Phipson.¹ She married Ashe Windham, son of Ashe Windham and Cora Ellen Sowerby Middleton, on 8 June 1940.¹
     From 8 June 1940, her married name became Windham.¹

     Colonel Edward Selby Phipson graduated with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)¹ He was appointed Fellow, Royal College of Physicians, London (F.R.C.P.)¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)¹ He gained the rank of Colonel in the Indian Medical Service.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Indian Empire (C.I.E.)¹

     Ashe Adrian Windham was born on 28 November 1941.¹ He is the son of Ashe Windham and Iris Daphne Phipson.¹ He married Daphne Anne Thomas, daughter of Major Albert Adolphus Pyne Cotton Thomas, on 29 March 1969.¹
     He was educated at Woodbridge School, Suffolk, England^G.¹ He was educated at Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Artillery.¹ He was in the Diplomatic Service.¹ He was Private Secretary of UK Permanent Representative to NATO at Brussels, Belgium^G.¹ He was Vice-Consul to Hamburg in 1976.¹ He was Vice-Consul to Johannesburg in 1979.¹ He held the office of Consul to Kuala Lumpur in 1987.¹ He held the office of Consul to Düsseldorf in 1991.¹

     Daphne Anne Thomas is the daughter of Major Albert Adolphus Pyne Cotton Thomas.¹ She married Ashe Adrian Windham, son of Ashe Windham and Iris Daphne Phipson, on 29 March 1969.¹
     From 29 March 1969, her married name became Windham.¹

     Major Albert Adolphus Pyne Cotton Thomas was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.)¹

     Philippa Mary Windham was born in 1977.¹ She is the daughter of Ashe Adrian Windham and Daphne Anne Thomas.¹
     She was educated at St. Felix School, Southwold, Suffolk, England^G.¹ She was educated at University of East Anglia, England^G.¹

     Daniel Harry Windham was born on 1 November 1948.¹ He is the son of Ashe Windham and Iris Daphne Phipson.¹ He married Caroline Mary Warren, daughter of Richard Pelham Warren and Eileen Mary Rowley, on 19 July 1975.¹
     He was educated at Radley House, Radley, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He graduated from Magdalene College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in the Royal Irish Rangers.¹ He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in the Muscat Regiment, S.A.F.¹ He was a cabinet maker.¹ He lived in 2003 at Willow Cottage, Hackford, Wymondham, Norfolk, England^G.¹

     Caroline Mary Warren was born on 3 April 1953.² She was the daughter of Richard Pelham Warren and Eileen Mary Rowley.^1,2 She married Daniel Harry Windham, son of Ashe Windham and Iris Daphne Phipson, on 19 July 1975.¹ She died on 26 September 2003 at age 50.²
     From 19 July 1975, her married name became Windham.¹

     Richard Pelham Warren was born on 2 October 1919.² He was the son of Richard Warren and Violet Irene Jenkin.² He married Eileen Mary Rowley, daughter of Arthur Therodore Frederic Rowley and Eileen Lilian Hilda Woods, on 7 June 1952.² He died on 14 July 1986 at age 66.²
     He was appointed Fellow, Royal College of Surgeons (F.R.C.S.)¹
