     Elizabeth Cogan was the daughter of Sir William Cogan.¹ She married, firstly, Sir Fulk FitzWarin, 5th Lord FitzWarin.² She married, secondly, Sir Hugh de Courtenay, son of Edward de Courtenay and Emmeline Dawnay, before 11 February 1392/93.¹ She died on 29 October 1397, without issue.¹
     Her married name became FitzWarin.² From before 11 February 1392/93, her married name became de Courtenay.¹

     Sir William Cogan lived at Bampton, Devon, England^G.¹

     Sir Fulk FitzWarin, 5th Lord FitzWarin was born on 2 March 1361/62.¹ He married Elizabeth Cogan, daughter of Sir William Cogan.¹ He died on 8 August 1391 at age 29.¹
     He gained the title of 5th Lord FitzWarin.

     Sir Oliver Boteler, 2nd Bt. was born circa 1637.¹ He was the son of Sir William Boteler, 1st Bt. and Joan Fanshawe.¹ He married, secondly, Anne Uphill, daughter of Jacob Uphill and Anne (?).¹ He married, firstly, Anne Austen, daughter of Sir Robert Austen, 1st Bt. and Anne Muns, in 1665.¹ He died circa 1689.¹ He died intestate and his estate was administered on 21 January 1689/90.¹
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Boteler, of Barham Court, Teston, co. Kent [E., 1641] on 29 June 1644.¹

     Anne Austen is the daughter of Sir Robert Austen, 1st Bt. and Anne Muns.¹ She married Sir Oliver Boteler, 2nd Bt., son of Sir William Boteler, 1st Bt. and Joan Fanshawe, in 1665.¹
     From 1665, her married name became Boteler.¹

     Anne Uphill was the daughter of Jacob Uphill and Anne (?)¹ She married Sir Oliver Boteler, 2nd Bt., son of Sir William Boteler, 1st Bt. and Joan Fanshawe.¹ She died circa January 1712/13.¹ She was buried on 26 January 1712/13 at Dagenham, Essex, England^G.¹ Her will (dated 22 December 1712) was proven (by probate) on 1 February 1713/14.¹
     Her married name became Boteler.¹

     Sir Philip Boteler, 3rd Bt. was born circa 1674.¹ He was the son of Sir Oliver Boteler, 2nd Bt. and Anne Uphill.¹ He married Anne des Bouverie, daughter of Sir Edward des Bouverie and Anne de la Forterie, circa 17 December 1690.¹ He died in April 1719.¹ He was buried at Teston, Kent, England^G.¹ His will (dated 29 March 1708) was proven (by probate) on 10 June 1719.¹
     He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Boteler, of Barham Court, Teston, co. Kent [E., 1641] circa 1689.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Hythe between 1690 and 1708.¹

     Anne des Bouverie was born circa 1668.¹ She was the daughter of Sir Edward des Bouverie and Anne de la Forterie.¹ She married Sir Philip Boteler, 3rd Bt., son of Sir Oliver Boteler, 2nd Bt. and Anne Uphill, circa 17 December 1690.¹ She died in 1717.¹ She was buried at Teston, Kent, England^G.¹ She died intestate and her estate was administered on 9 October 1717.¹
     From circa 17 December 1690, her married name became Boteler.¹
