     Jane Higginson was the daughter of Joseph Higginson and Bridget Mottley.¹ She married Sir Kildare Dixon Borrowes, 5th Bt., son of Sir Walter Borrowes, 4th Bt. and Mary Pottinger, on 10 May 1769.¹ She died in September 1793.¹
     From 10 May 1769, her married name became Borrowes.¹

     Joseph Higginson lived at Mount Ophaley, County Kildare, Ireland^G.¹

     Bridget Mottley is the daughter of James Mottley.¹

     James Mottley lived at Tullow, County Carlow, Ireland^G.¹

     Sir Erasmus Dixon Borrowes, 6th Bt. was born on 20 December 1759.¹ He was the son of Sir Kildare Dixon Borrowes, 5th Bt. and Elizabeth Short.¹ He married Henrietta de Robillard Champagné, daughter of Very Rev. Arthur Champagné and Marianne Hamon, in 1783.¹ He died on 19 September 1814 at age 54.¹
     He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Borrowes, of Grangemellon, co. Kildare [I., 1646] on 22 June 1790.¹ He held the office of Sheriff of Queen’s County in 1800.¹ He held the office of Sheriff of County Kildare in 1809.¹

     Henrietta de Robillard Champagné was the daughter of Very Rev. Arthur Champagné and Marianne Hamon.¹ She married Sir Erasmus Dixon Borrowes, 6th Bt., son of Sir Kildare Dixon Borrowes, 5th Bt. and Elizabeth Short, in 1783.¹ She died on 11 June 1807.¹
     From 1783, her married name became Borrowes.¹ She and Theobald Wolfe Tone were associated circa 1794.²

     Sir Walter Dixon Borrowes, 7th Bt. was born on 21 September 1789.¹ He was the son of Sir Erasmus Dixon Borrowes, 6th Bt. and Henrietta de Robillard Champagné.¹ He died on 7 March 1834 at age 44, unmarried.¹
     He succeeded as the 7th Baronet Borrowes, of Grangemellon, co. Kildare [I., 1646] on 19 September 1814.¹ He held the office of Sheriff of Queen’s County in 1817.¹

     Harriet Hamilton was the daughter of Henry Hamilton and Mary Wetherall.¹ She married Reverend Sir Erasmus Borrowes, 8th Bt., son of Sir Erasmus Dixon Borrowes, 6th Bt. and Henrietta de Robillard Champagné, in March 1825. She died before 1880.¹
     From March 1825, her married name became Borrowes.¹

     Henry Hamilton was born on 16 July 1760.² He was the son of James Hamilton.¹ He married Mary Wetherall, daughter of John Wetherall.² He died in November 1844 at age 84.²
     He lived at Ballymacoll, County Meath, Ireland^G.¹

     James Hamilton was born in 1727.³ He was the son of James Hamilton and Anne Hall.⁴ He married, secondly, Alice Hamilton, daughter of John Hamilton.⁴ He married, thirdly, Jane Candler, daughter of Reverend William Candler.⁴ He married, firstly, Hannah Phillips in 1750.⁴ He died in 1800.⁵
     He held the office of Deputy Protonotary of the Court of the King’s Bench.³ He lived at Holmpatrick, Ireland^G.⁴ He lived at Abbotstown, County Dublin, Ireland^G.⁶ He lived at Sheepshill, Ireland^G.⁴
     He had 26 other children by his three wives.⁵
