     He gained the rank of Brigadier in the Royal Artillery.¹

     Robert Edward Vaizey held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹ He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.)¹ He lived at Attwoods, Halstead, Essex, England^G.¹
