     Ruth Quintal was born on 8 May 1829 at Pitcairn Island^G.¹ She was the daughter of Arthur Quintal and Catherine McCoy.¹ She married Samuel McCoy, son of Daniel McCoy and Sarah Quintal, on 19 September 1858 at Norfolk Island^G.¹ She died on 29 September 1862 at age 33 at Norfolk Island^G.¹
     In 1851 she was one of the 14 women who invited Admiral Moresby to visit Pitcairn.¹ From 19 September 1858, her married name became McCoy.¹

     Albinah Amelia McCoy was born on 9 July 1859 at Norfolk Island^G.¹ She was the daughter of Samuel McCoy and Ruth Quintal.¹ She died on 1 March 1868 at age 8 at Norfolk Island^G.¹

     Sarah Mayland McCoy was born on 29 December 1860 at Norfolk Island^G.¹ She was the daughter of Samuel McCoy and Ruth Quintal.¹ She died on 14 November 1862 at age 1 at Norfolk Island^G.¹

     Samuel William McCoy was born on 19 May 1862 at Norfolk Island^G.¹ He was the son of Samuel McCoy and Ruth Quintal.¹ He died on 23 August 1862 at Norfolk Island^G.¹

     Daniel McCoy was born on 28 December 1832 at Pitcairn Island^G.¹ He was the son of Daniel McCoy and Sarah Quintal.¹ He married Lydia Young, daughter of William Young and Elizabeth Mills, on 24 March 1850 at Pitcairn Island^G.¹ He died on 7 April 1855 at age 22 at Pitcairn Island^G.¹
     Daniel and Lydia went alone to an isolated spot that could be reached only by swimming a narrow passage, or by climbing a few steps, then descending a very dangerous path among the rocks. They chose the latter, and Daniel lost his hold, slipped, and fell. The fall was not high, scarcely 10 feet, but he landed hard and broke his back. With one dreadful groan, he died instantly.      Lydia Young was born on 16 September 1832 at Pitcairn Island^G.¹ She was the daughter of William Young and Elizabeth Mills.¹ She married, firstly, Daniel McCoy, son of Daniel McCoy and Sarah Quintal, on 24 March 1850 at Pitcairn Island^G.¹ She married, secondly, Robert Pitcairn Buffett, son of John Buffett and Dorothy Young, on 7 December 1862 at Norfolk Island^G.¹ She was buried on 30 July 1883 at Pitcairn Island^G, from asthma and dropsy.¹
     From 24 March 1850, her married name became McCoy.¹ From 7 December 1862, her married name became Buffett.¹ She was among the 2nd wave of returnees from Norfolk in
1864.¹

     Catherine McCoy was born in 1799 at Pitcairn Island^G.¹ She was the daughter of William McCoy and Teio (?)¹ She married Arthur Quintal, son of Matthew Quintal and Tevarua (?), in 1816 at Pitcairn Island^G.¹ She died on 8 June 1831 at Tahiti^G.¹
     From 1816, her married name became Quintal.²

     Catherine Quintal was born in 1818 at Pitcairn Island^G.² She was the daughter of Arthur Quintal and Catherine McCoy.² She died on 15 May 1831 at Tahiti^G.²
     Catherine Quintal also went by the nick-name of Kitty.¹

     Lucy Anne Quintal was born on board the Lucy Anne between 7 March 1831 and 23 March 1831.² She was the daughter of Arthur Quintal and Catherine McCoy.¹ She died on 25 April 1831 at Tahiti^G.¹

     Susan Pamela Blunt was born in 1940.¹ She is the daughter of Hugh Clavell Blunt and Elizabeth Marjorie Campbell.¹ She married Brian James Clayden in 1992.¹
     She lived in 2003 at 751 Eden Place, West Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada^G.¹
