     From 6 November 1930, her married name became Pile.¹

     George Douglas Laurie Pile was the son of Sir George Laurie Pile.¹ He married Marjorie Nina Blunt, daughter of Colonel Conrad Edward Grant Blunt and Aimeé Straghan, on 6 November 1930.¹ He died on 29 January 1965.¹
     He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.)¹

     Richard Edward Laurie Pile was born on 24 October 1934.¹ He is the son of George Douglas Laurie Pile and Marjorie Nina Blunt.¹ He married Elizabeth Ann Bubb, daughter of Charles Henry Lewis Bubb, on 1 December 1962.¹
     He was educated at Stowe School, Buckingham, Buckinghamshire, England^G.¹ He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He lived in 2003 at Ampney Knowle, Gloucestershire, England^G.¹

     Matthew Quintal was born in 1814 at Pitcairn Island^G.¹ He was the son of Matthew Quintal and Elizabeth Mills.¹ He died on 8 December 1865 at Norfolk Island^G.¹ He was buried at Norfolk Island Cemetery, Kingston, Norfolk Island.²

     Mayhew Young was born in 1823 at Pitcairn Island^G.¹ He was the son of William Young and Elizabeth Mills.¹ He died in 1823 at Pitcairn Island^G, aged 9 months.¹

     Dorcas Young was born on 16 September 1832 at Pitcairn Island^G.¹ She was the daughter of William Young and Elizabeth Mills.¹ She married Thomas Buffett, son of John Buffett and Dorothy Young, on 25 May 1875 at Norfolk Island^G.¹ She died on 3 December 1917 at age 85 at Norfolk Island^G.¹
     From 25 May 1875, her married name became Buffett.¹ She was one of the 14 women who invited Admiral Moresby to visit Pitcairn in 1851. Jane Nobbs referred to her in 1861 as her best friend, and that ‘She has become such a good, kindhearted woman that she is everyone’s favorite … (everyone) sends to her for help.¹‘

     Maria Elizabeth Buffett was born on 25 March 1877 at Norfolk Island^G.¹ She was the daughter of Thomas Buffett and Dorcas Young.¹
