     Above medium height, with a well-built upstanding body, she made a pleasant figure. Her masses of almost black hair, caught simply in a knot at the back of her head, her rather wide brow and face shaded and relieved by a natural sweep of hair, and her dark brown eyes, wide set and full, added a definite charm to her habitual expression of pleasant
simplicity. Shyly, with a suspicion of embarrassed awkwardness, she

     Burley Edson Warren was born on 23 February 1897 at Pitcairn Island^G.¹ He was the son of George Francis Chris Warren and Alice Lily Butler.¹ He married Eleanor Young, daughter of David Andrew Stanley Young and Catherine Edith Warren, at Pitcairn Island^G.¹ He died on 17 December 1947 at age 50 at Pitcairn Island^G.¹
     His family were the island hosts of Dr. Harry L. Shapiro when he visited
Pitcairn in 1934. Gentle, shy, somewhat deprecatory in manner, Burley was a
stout, simple-hearted man. He died of heart trouble.¹

     Lyndon Newton Warren was born on 19 February 1926 at Pitcairn Island^G.¹ He is the son of Burley Edson Warren and Eleanor Young.¹ He married Jadwiga Rozycka.²

     Curley Hick Warren was born on 14 May 1927 at Pitcairn Island^G.¹ He was the son of Burley Edson Warren and Eleanor Young.¹ He married Anna Modzelewska in 1951.² He died on 8 January 1987 at age 59 at Wellington, New Zealand.²

     Douglas Walton Warren was born on 10 July 1930 at Pitcairn Island^G.¹ He was the son of Burley Edson Warren and Eleanor Young.¹ He married Nancy Young.² He died in 2017 at New Zealand.³

     Maisie Janelle Warren was born on 26 May 1935 at Pitcairn Island^G.¹ She is the daughter of Burley Edson Warren and Eleanor Young.¹

     Thornton Gilbert Christian was born on 10 March 1888 at Pitcairn Island^G.¹ He was the son of Phillip Howland Christian and Gertrude Eliza Warren.¹ He married Marian Edith Young, daughter of Benjamin Stanley Young and Rebecca Holman Ascension McCoy, on 6 April 1910 at Pitcairn Island^G.¹ He died on 24 January 1957 at age 68 at Pitcairn Island^G.¹
