     John Adams Carr was born on 28 July 1916 at Norfolk Island^G.^1,2 He was the son of Francis Holford Adams and Maria Madeline Christian.¹ He married Mary Jane Nobbs, daughter of Benjamin ffrench Nobbs and Amy Quintal, on 11 January 1964 at Norfolk ISland.² He died on 27 December 1995 at age 79 at Brisbane, Queensland, Australia^G, without issue.¹
     He was given the name of Alec Eustace Adams at birth.¹ He was raised by Alexander Carr & Elizabeth Christian, and although he was not adopted, he did use their name.¹ He gained the rank of Corporal in the Norfolk Island Infantry Detachment.² On 1 July 1974 his name was legally changed to John Adams Carr.³

     Edward Ward Dillon Adams was born on 4 March 1918 at Norfolk Island^G.^1,2 He was the son of Francis Holford Adams and Maria Madeline Christian.¹ He married Margaret Dorren Watkins on 11 May 1945.² He died on 23 July 1991 at age 73 at Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.²

     Friedrich Jay was born on 9 September 1899 at Leipzig, Brandenburg, Germany^G.¹ He married Emmy Margit von Opel, daughter of Heinrich Adam von Opel and Emilie Weber, in 1924.¹ He and Emmy Margit von Opel were divorced in 1931.¹ He died on 21 May 1942 at age 42 at Berlin, Germany^G.¹

     Maria Adams was born on 21 August 1890 at Norfolk Island^G.¹ She was the daughter of George Webb Adams and Martha Coffin Quintal.¹
