     On 25 May 1937, Pearl Quintal filed a paternity suit against him in the
Norfolk Island court. He lost the suit and was ordered to pay 5 shillings
a week in child support.¹

     Mary Amelia Moira Quintal was born on 3 December 1937 at Norfolk Island^G.¹ She is the daughter of Arthur Edward Vincent Archer and Amelia Victoria Pearl Quintal.¹

     Laurie Patteson Quintal was born in 1920 at Norfolk Island^G.¹ He was the son of William Quintal and Ellen Louise Christian.¹ He died on 16 October 1943 at Burma^G.¹

     Sally Priscilla Quintal was born in 1922.¹ She was the daughter of William Quintal and Ellen Louise Christian.¹ She married Jack Sharkey in 1945.² She died on 14 July 1984 at Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.² She was buried on 31 July 1984 at Eastern Suburbs Memorial Park, Matraville, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.²
     From 1945, her married name became Sharkey.²

     Jack Sharkey married Sally Priscilla Quintal, daughter of William Quintal and Ellen Louise Christian, in 1945.²
