Their heritage is worth saving.’ She teaches the Tahitian ‘Tamoure’, a hip-swinging traditional dance. ‘I don’t think any Norfolk girls have been to Tahiti, but whenever they hear the music, they get lost in it. When I’m teaching a pupil for the first time, you turn the music on and it does something to them.1‘

He gained the rank of sailor in the Royal Australian Navy.2 He wrote the book The Pacific War on Norfolk Island.1 At Darwin, Northern Territory, Australia, with the Commonwealth Department of External Territories.2 He was with the Commonwealth Department of External Territories between 1964 and 1970 at Canberra, A.C.T., Australia.2 He was the Official Secretary of Norfolk Island (including Deputy Registrar of Lands, Companies, and Births, Deaths, & Marriages; Deputy Coroner; Clerk of the Courts; Deputy Administrator; Revenue Manager; Collector of Customs Philatelic Bureau; and Mgr & Chairman of the Norfolk Island Museum Trust & Historical Society) in June 1970 at Norfolk Island.2
