Wilfred Francis Young was born on 27 June 1892 at Norfolk IslandG.1 He was the son of Frederick Richmond Young and Esther Linda Quintal.1 He died on 15 July 1916 at age 24 at Somme, FranceG, killed in action.2
He fought in the First World War, with the 2nd Auckland Infantry Battalion, New Zealand Expeditionary Forces.1
