     Pervis Ferris Young was born on 24 March 1928 at Pitcairn Island^G.¹ He was the son of Andrew Clarence David Young and Catherine Almira Warren.¹ He married Marona Estelle Young, daughter of Wilkson Carlson Young and Marjorie Estelle Christian, at Pitcairn Island^G.² He died on 29 May 2003 at age 75 at Auckland, New Zealand^G.¹
     He held the office of Magistrate of Pitcairn Island between 1968 and 1972. Pervis was an Adventist elder, served as Chief of the Share-Out Committee in 1964. He has the stern countenance of a simple and devout man doing his best to make honest and wise decisions for a people beginning to know the complexities of the outside world. He lived in New Zealand for three brief periods, taking factory jobs in Auckland and Wellington. He and his family had moved to New Zealand by 1989.²

     Ivan Roa Christian was born on 31 May 1919 at Pitcairn Island^G.² He is the son of Richard Edgar Allen Christian and Adelia Carrie Jordon McCoy.² He married Verna Carlene Deborah Young, daughter of Andrew Clarence David Young and Catherine Almira Warren, at Pitcairn Island^G.²
     He held the office of Chief Magistrate of Pitcairn Island in 1980.²

     Captain Reinier Gerrit Anton van der Woude is the son of Reinier Gerrit Anton van der Woude.² He married, firstly, Lady Anne Penelope Marian Herbert, daughter of Lt.-Col. Henry George Alfred Marius Victor Francis Herbert, 6th Earl of Carnarvon and Anne Catherine Tredick Wendell, on 21 April 1945.¹ He married, secondly, Hon. Esmé Mary Gabrielle Harmsworth, daughter of Esmond Cecil Harmsworth, 2nd Viscount Rothermere and Margaret Hunam Redhead, in 1993.³
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Grenadier Guards.² Captain Reinier Gerrit Anton van der Woude usually went by his middle name of Gerrit.²

     Zena Lucille Christian was born on 26 December 1938 at Pitcairn Island^G.² She was also reported to have been born on 2 October 1937 at Pitcairn Island^G.² She is the daughter of Ivan Roa Christian and Verna Carlene Deborah Young.¹ She married Philip O’Brien.¹
     She was also known as Zena Lucille Young.² She was also known as Lucille Vanda Melva Christian.¹ She was brought up by her maternal grandparents.²

     Charles Fletcher O. Christian was born on 13 January 1942 at Pitcairn Island^G.² He is the son of Ivan Roa Christian and Verna Carlene Deborah Young.¹

     Ruth Elva Christian was born on 2 October 1946 at Pitcairn Island^G.² She is the daughter of Ivan Roa Christian and Verna Carlene Deborah Young.¹ She married unknown Phelan in 1964.²
     From 1964, her married name became Phelan.²

     Steven Raymond Christian was born on 26 June 1951 at Pitcairn Island^G.² He is the son of Ivan Roa Christian and Verna Carlene Deborah Young.¹ He married Olive Jal Brown, daughter of Len Carlyle Brown and Thelma Adella Christian, on 16 February 1972 at Pitcairn Island^G.²
     He was a mechanic and dentist in 1982 at Pitcairn Island^G.³ He lived in 1993 at Pitcairn Island^G.⁴
     The Pitcairn telephone system was an old wartime one, a party line, donated by New Zealand. The instructions indicated that no more than 12 phones could be hooked to one network, so they set up two networks, one for the government and leaders, the other for the rest of the people. Steve thought that the instructions were full of baloney, and rewired everyone into the same network, and it works fine. He was coxswain on the launch the day of the arrival of the National Geographic team in 1983, and is pictured on page 511 of Howard: Pitcairn and Norfolk, National Geographic, Oct 1983.³

     Brenda Vera Amelia Christian was born on 25 February 1953 at Pitcairn Island^G.² She is the daughter of Ivan Roa Christian and Verna Carlene Deborah Young.¹ She married Michael Randall on 3 August 1972 at Pitcairn Island^G.²
     From 3 August 1972, her married name became Randall.² During the Christmas season (1972), the celebrations ended with a hilarious concert at the Courthouse. Brenda, ‘the curviest of the Christians’, was Britannia wrapped in the Union Jack. In 1970-1, she attended two years of off-island education in Dunedin, New Zealand.²

     Suzy Prendergast is the daughter of John Barry Prendergast.¹ She married James Windham Baring, son of Robin Windham Baring and Anne Elizabeth Husband, in 1985.¹
     From 1985, her married name became Baring.¹

     Philip O’Brien was born on 8 October 1942 at London, England^G.² He married Zena Lucille Christian, daughter of Ivan Roa Christian and Verna Carlene Deborah Young.¹
