     Lady Gertrude Augusta Anderson-Pelham was born on 11 May 1861.¹ She was the daughter of Charles Anderson Pelham Anderson-Pelham, 3rd Earl of Yarborough and Lady Victoria Alexandrina Hare.¹ She married Sir Francis Edmund George Astley-Corbett, 4th Bt., son of Lt.-Col. Sir John Dugdale Astley, 3rd Bt. and Eleanor Blanche Mary Corbett, on 5 June 1882.¹ She died on 6 July 1920 at age 59.¹
     From 5 June 1882, her married name became Astley. From 11 December 1889, her married name became Astley-Corbett.

     Fanny Rose Jacobs was the daughter of Simon Jacobs.¹ She married F/Lt. Hubert Ernest Malcolm Bowes-Lyon, son of Captain Hubert Ernest Bowes-Lyon and Mary Agnes Smeaton, on 12 July 1943 at Johannesburg, Transvaal, South Africa^G.¹ She and F/Lt. Hubert Ernest Malcolm Bowes-Lyon were divorced in 1964.¹ She died on 27 July 1969.¹
     From 12 July 1943, her married name became Bowes-Lyon.

     Jennifer Merrill Bowes-Lyon was born on 12 April 1944 at Cairo, Egypt^G.¹ She is the daughter of F/Lt. Hubert Ernest Malcolm Bowes-Lyon and Fanny Rose Jacobs.¹ She married Stephen Byk.¹
     Her married name became Byk.¹ She graduated from Tel Aviv University, Tel Aviv, Israel^G, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹

     Captain Hubert Ernest Bowes-Lyon was born on 6 October 1883.¹ He was the son of Hon. Ernest Bowes-Lyon and Isobel Hester Drummond.¹ He married, firstly, Mary Agnes Smeaton, daughter of James Hay Smeaton, on 14 January 1905.¹ He married, secondly, Margaret May Nuttall, daughter of Frank Nuttall, on 13 August 1919.¹ He died on 28 April 1959 at age 75.¹
     He was educated at Haileybury College, Haileybury, Hertfordshire, England.¹ He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Service Battalion, Royal Fusiliers.¹ He fought in the First World War, where he was wounded.¹

     Mary Agnes Smeaton was the daughter of James Hay Smeaton. She married Captain Hubert Ernest Bowes-Lyon, son of Hon. Ernest Bowes-Lyon and Isobel Hester Drummond, on 14 January 1905.¹ She died on 5 March 1914.
     From 14 January 1905, her married name became Bowes-Lyon.

     Douglas Ian Gordon Bowes-Lyon was born on 30 June 1912.¹ He was the son of Captain Hubert Ernest Bowes-Lyon and Mary Agnes Smeaton.¹ He married Charlotte Gardiner, daughter of Norman Herbert Gardiner, on 20 June 1942.¹ He died in 1997.
     He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Canadian Armoured Corps.¹

     Constance Mary Bowes-Lyon was born on 24 December 1904.¹ She was the daughter of Captain Hubert Ernest Bowes-Lyon and Mary Agnes Smeaton.¹ She married George Clark Dow, son of William Dow, on 29 July 1933 at Blantyre, Malawi^G.¹
     In June 1924 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland^G, she obtained a decree of legitimation by the Court of Sessions.² Her married name became Dow.

     George Clark Dow was the son of William Dow.¹ He married Constance Mary Bowes-Lyon, daughter of Captain Hubert Ernest Bowes-Lyon and Mary Agnes Smeaton, on 29 July 1933 at Blantyre, Malawi^G.¹ He died on 5 April 1967.¹
     He was a tobacco planter.¹

     Charlotte Gardiner was the daughter of Norman Herbert Gardiner.¹ She married Douglas Ian Gordon Bowes-Lyon, son of Captain Hubert Ernest Bowes-Lyon and Mary Agnes Smeaton, on 20 June 1942.¹ She died on 11 March 1988.¹
     From 20 June 1942, her married name became Bowes-Lyon.

     Douglas Malcolm Bowes-Lyon was born on 17 August 1946.¹ He is the son of Douglas Ian Gordon Bowes-Lyon and Charlotte Gardiner.¹ He married Diana Frenchette in 1975.¹
