     Catherine Evans was the daughter of Sir William Evans, 1st and last Bt. and Jane Coote.^1,2 She married Francis Morres, son of Hervey Morres and Frances Butler.³
     Her married name became Morres.

     Sir William Evans, 1st and last Bt. was born circa 1662.² He was the son of Captain Thomas Evans and Katherine Weldon.² He married Jane Coote, daughter of Colonel Hon. Richard Coote and Penelope Hill.³ He died in May 1690, without surviving male issue.²
     He was created 1st Baronet Evans, of Kilkreene, in the city of Kilkenny [Ireland] on 19 February 1682/83.²

     Captain Thomas Evans died in 1677.¹
     He lived at Kilcreen, Kilkenny, County Kilkenny, Ireland^G.¹ He held the office of Mayor of Kilkenny in 1659.² He held the office of Mayor of Kilkenny between 1666 and 1668.²

     Katherine Weldon was the daughter of Walter Weldon and Jane Ryder.¹

     Walter Weldon was the son of Thomas Weldon.² He married Jane Ryder, daughter of Rt. Rev. John Ryder.³ He died on 9 December 1634.³
     He lived at St. John’s Bower, Athy, County Kildare, Ireland^G.⁴ He lived at Athy, County Kildare, Ireland^G.⁵ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Athy in 1613.³

     Jane Coote was the daughter of Colonel Hon. Richard Coote and Penelope Hill.¹ She married, firstly, Sir William Evans, 1st and last Bt., son of Captain Thomas Evans and Katherine Weldon.² She married, secondly, Captain Henry Gorges, son of John Gorges.² She married, fourthly, Major William Billingsly.² She married, thirdly, Jervais Price after 1696.² She died on 25 June 1729.²
     Her married name became Billingsly.² Her married name became Evans.¹ Her married name became Gorges.² From after 1696, her married name became Price.²

     Alice Philips was the daughter of Sir Thomas Philips.¹ She married Chidley Coote, son of Sir Charles Coote, 1st Bt. and Dorothea Cuffe.¹ She died circa September 1680.¹ She was buried on 25 September 1680.¹
     Alice Philips usually went by her middle name of Anne.¹ Her married name became Coote.¹

     Jane Helle was the daughter of Sir John Helle.¹ She married Sir Edward Hungerford, son of Anthony Hungerford and Rachel Jones.² She died on 18 May 1664.²
     Her married name became Hungerford.¹

     Sir John Helle lived at Devon, England.²

     John Skeffington, 2nd Viscount Massereene was the son of Sir Richard Skeffington and Anne Newdigate.² He married Hon. Mary Clotworthy, daughter of John Clotworthy, 1st Viscount Massereene and Lady Margaret Jones, on 20 July 1654 at St. Paul’s Church, Covent Gardens, London, England^G.² He died on 21 June 1695.¹
     He was educated at Magdalene College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.² He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Skeffington, of Fisherwicke, co. Staffs [E., 1627] circa 4 April 1652.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County Antrim [Ireland] between 1661 and 1665.² He succeeded as the 2nd Viscount Massereene, co. Antrim [I., 1660] on 23 September 1665.¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Baron of Loughneagh, co. Antrim [I., 1660] on 23 September 1665.² He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) [Ireland]² He held the office of Governor of County Antrim before 1683.² He held the office of Governor of County Derry and Coleraine in 1685.² In 1689 he was attainted by King James II’s Parliament.² In 1692 he was restored by King William III.²
