     John Clotworthy, 1st Viscount Massereene was the son of Sir Hugh Clotworthy and Mary Langford.² He married Lady Margaret Jones, daughter of Roger Jones, 1st Viscount Ranelagh and Frances Moore, before 1642/43. He died on 23 September 1665 at Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G, without male issue.¹

     Lady Margaret Jones was the daughter of Roger Jones, 1st Viscount Ranelagh and Frances Moore.¹ She married John Clotworthy, 1st Viscount Massereene, son of Sir Hugh Clotworthy and Mary Langford, before 1642/43. She died after 18 August 1683.¹
     From before 1642/43, her married name became Clotworthy.¹

     Frances Moore was the daughter of Garret Moore, 1st Viscount Moore of Drogheda.¹ She married Roger Jones, 1st Viscount Ranelagh, son of Most Reverend Thomas Jones and Margaret Purdon.² She died on 13 November 1620.²
