John Galwey1 
He was admitted to King’s Inn, Dublin.1 He was also known as John Galway.2 He was admitted to Gray’s Inn on 16 May 1668 entitled to practise as a Barrister-at-Law.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Cork in 1689.1 In 1690 his estates were forfeited for adhering to the Jacobite cause.1 He was a Commissioner for applotting tax for County Cork on 10 April 1690.1 On 1 August 1695 he received a Royal Pardon.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Cork.1 He lived at Lota, County Cork, IrelandG.1 His last will was dated February 1711/12.
