     Matthew Sankey is the son of William Sankey.

     Sackville Berkeley Hamilton was born on 26 October 1846.¹ He was the son of Sackville Deane Hamilton and Eleanor Sankey.¹ He married Eva Maria Eleanor Benson, daughter of General Charles Annesley Benson and Grace Jane Lankey, on 10 July 1880.¹ He died on 4 May 1913 at age 66.¹
     He was Adjutant-Inspector-General of the Royal Irish Constabulary.¹

     Eva Maria Eleanor Benson was born on 24 April 1862.² She was the daughter of General Charles Annesley Benson and Grace Jane Lankey.¹ She was baptised on 25 June 1862 at Trichinopoly, Madras, India.² She married Sackville Berkeley Hamilton, son of Sackville Deane Hamilton and Eleanor Sankey, on 10 July 1880.¹ She died on 2 June 1926 at age 64 at Farnham, Surrey, England.^1,2
     From 10 July 1880, her married name became Hamilton.¹

     General Charles Annesley Benson was born in 1831 at India.² He married, firstly, Grace Jane Lankey, daughter of Matthew Lankey, on 25 July 1861 at Bangalore, Madras, India.² He married, secondly, Frances A. Vizard, daughter of John Vizard and Mary Leigh Scott, on 11 July 1883 at Dursley Parish Church, Dursley, Gloucestershire, England.² He died in 1906.²
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Madras Native Infantry.²
