     He was educated at Dunstable School^G.¹ He was educated at Guy’s Hospital Medical School, London, England^G.¹ He was educated at St. George’s Hospital^G.¹ He graduated with a Diploma in Medical Radiology (D.M.R.)¹ He was registered as a Member, Royal College of Surgeons (M.R.C.S.)¹ He was registered as a Licentiate, Royal College of Physicians, London (L.R.C.P.) in 1938.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Army Medical Corps.¹ He was registered as a Licentiate in Dental Surgery (L.D.S.)¹

     Kathleen Amy Musgrove was born in 1908 at Merthyr Tydfil, Glamorgan, Wales.² She is the daughter of Edward Hugh Musgrove.¹ She married, firstly, Air Commodore Edward Donald MacLulich Hopkins in 1932 at Merthyr Tydfil, Glamorgan, Wales.^1,2 She married, secondly, Francis George Bowles, Baron Bowles, son of Horace Edgar Bowles and Louisa Vance, on 25 May 1950.¹
     From 1932, her married name became Hopkins.¹ From 25 May 1950, her married name became Bowles.¹ After her marriage, Kathleen Amy Musgrove was styled as Baroness Bowles on 12 December 1964.

     Edward Hugh Musgrove lived at Aelbryn, Dowlais, Glamorgan, Wales^G.¹

     Air Commodore Edward Donald MacLulich Hopkins was born on 11 March 1904 at Britstown, Cape Province, South Africa.² He married Kathleen Amy Musgrove, daughter of Edward Hugh Musgrove, in 1932 at Merthyr Tydfil, Glamorgan, Wales.^1,2 He died on 28 October 1946 at age 42 at Buckerburg, Germany, killed in a flying accident.^1,2
     He was educated at Oundle School, Oundle, Northamptonshire, England.² He was educated at Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.² He gained the rank of Pliot Officer on 26 January 1926 in the Royal Air Force.² He was with the Directorate of Research and Development, Air Ministry between 1937 and 1941.² He was with the British Air Commission between 1941 and 1945 at Washington, D.C., U.S.A.² He was Deputy Director of Intelligence, Air Ministry between January 1945 and July 1945.² He was with the British section of the Control Commission in July 1945 at Germany.²

     Mary Clark was baptised on 11 February 1816 at West Kilbride, Ayrshire, Scotland^G.² She was the daughter of Andrew Clark and Mary Boyd.^1,2 She married Robert Orr. She died on 24 April 1893 at age 77 at Main Street, West Kilbride, Ayrshire, Scotland^G.²
     Her married name became Orr.¹

     Robert Orr married Mary Clark, daughter of Andrew Clark and Mary Boyd.
     He was a sailor.²

     Andrew Clark married Mary Boyd.²
     He lived at Cubnishaw, West Kilbride, Ayrshire, Scotland^G.¹ He was also known as William Clark.²

     Annie Morton Boyd was the daughter of James Boyd.¹ She married Robert Clark Orr, son of Robert Orr and Mary Clark, in 1870. She died in 1931.¹
     From 1870, her married name became Orr.¹
