     Major Robert Charles Sanford Barclay was born on 14 February 1918.¹ He was the son of Rt. Hon. Sir Colville Adrian de Rune Barclay and Sarita Enriqueta Ward.¹ He married, firstly, Camilla Boughey, daughter of Sir George Menteth Boughey, 9th Bt. and Noel Evelyn Glass, on 29 January 1941.¹ He and Camilla Boughey were divorced in 1964.¹ He married, secondly, Alice Molly Blackman, daughter of Sidney Blackman, on 6 March 1964.¹ He died on 24 January 2001 at age 82.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He was educated at Magdalen College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Intelligence Corps.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He was awarded the Croix de Guerre.¹ He was awarded the Chevalier, Legion of Honour.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Kent in 1960.¹

     Camilla Boughey was born on 9 December 1916.² She was the daughter of Sir George Menteth Boughey, 9th Bt. and Noel Evelyn Glass.^1,2 She married Major Robert Charles Sanford Barclay, son of Rt. Hon. Sir Colville Adrian de Rune Barclay and Sarita Enriqueta Ward, on 29 January 1941.¹ She and Major Robert Charles Sanford Barclay were divorced in 1964.¹ She died on 4 May 1997 at age 80.¹
     From 29 January 1941, her married name became Barclay.¹

     Sir George Menteth Boughey, 9th Bt. was born on 28 March 1879.² He was the son of Colonel George Fletcher Ottley Boughey and Harriet Rose Amy Stuart-Menteth.¹ He married Noel Evelyn Glass, daughter of James George Henry Glass, on 1 February 1913. He died on 28 June 1959 at age 80.²
     He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)² He was in the Indian Civil Service between 1901 and 1916.² He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1919.² He succeeded as the 9th Baronet Fletcher, of Newcastle-under-Lyne and Betley Court, co. Stafford [G.B., 1798] on 6 March 1927.² He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1928.²

     Alice Molly Blackman was the daughter of Sidney Blackman.¹ She married Major Robert Charles Sanford Barclay, son of Rt. Hon. Sir Colville Adrian de Rune Barclay and Sarita Enriqueta Ward, on 6 March 1964.¹ She died in 1985.¹
     From 6 March 1964, her married name became Barclay.¹

     Peter John Barclay was born on 27 December 1941.¹ He is the son of Major Robert Charles Sanford Barclay and Camilla Boughey.¹ He married Angela Mary Blackborow, daughter of Harold Francis Blackborow, on 25 June 1964.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He lived in 2003 at 8 Broomhill Road, London, England^G.¹

     Angela Mary Blackborow is the daughter of Harold Francis Blackborow.¹ She married Peter John Barclay, son of Major Robert Charles Sanford Barclay and Camilla Boughey, on 25 June 1964.¹
     From 25 June 1964, her married name became Barclay.¹

     Harold Francis Blackborow lived at Rodmartin, Cirencester, Gloucestershire, England^G.¹

     Alasdair James Barclay was born on 16 January 1968.¹ He is the son of Peter John Barclay and Angela Mary Blackborow.¹

     Piers David Barclay was born on 2 June 1972.¹ He is the son of Peter John Barclay and Angela Mary Blackborow.¹ He married Rose C. M. Troughton, daughter of Peter John Charles Troughton and Sarah Rose Colman.²
