     Frederick Colville Beresford Barclay was born on 28 October 1993.¹ He is the son of Colville Edwin Ward Barclay and Fiona M. Bell.¹

     Sir Robert Cecil de Belzim Barclay of Pierston, 13th Bt. was born on 18 June 1862.¹ He was the son of Sir Colville Arthur Durell Barclay of Pierston, 11th Bt. and Louise Melanie de Belzim.¹ He married Theresa Marie Camilla Pouget, daughter of E. Pouget, on 11 October 1926.¹ He died on 18 March 1930 at age 67, without issue.¹
     He succeeded as the 13th Baronet Barclay, of Pierston, co. Ayr [N.S., 1668] on 2 October 1918.¹

     William Barclay of Pierston was born in 1570.¹ He was the son of William Barclay of Pierston and Isobel Hamilton.¹ He married Jean Boyle, daughter of John Boyle of Kelburn and Marion Crawfurd, on 24 May 1592.¹ He died in August 1628.¹

     William Barclay of Pierston was the son of William Barclay of Pierston and Janet Montgomerie.¹ He married Isobel Hamilton, daughter of Robert Hamilton of Dalmuir, younger, circa 10 May 1565.¹ He died on 26 June 1586.¹

     William Barclay of Pierston was the son of Robert Barclay of Pierston and Catherine Wallace.¹ He married Janet Montgomerie, daughter of Hugh Montgomerie of Stane.¹ He died on 17 July 1584.¹
     On 23 January 1551/52 he was served heir to his brother, John.¹

     Robert Barclay of Pierston was the son of William Barclay of Pierston and Marion Cunningham.¹ He married Catherine Wallace, daughter of unknown Wallace of Cairnhill, circa 15 September 1518.¹ He died circa 21 February 1531/32.¹

     William Barclay of Pierston was the son of Ninian Barclay of Pierston and Agnes Bruce.¹ He married Marion Cunningham.¹ He died before 20 April 1529.¹
