Henry Cromwell was born on 20 January 1627/28 at Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG.1,3 He was the son of Oliver Cromwell and Elizabeth Bouchier.1 He was baptised on 29 January 1627/28 at Sawtry All Saints, Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG.3 He and Dorothy Osborne were engaged.4 He married Elizabeth Russell, daughter of Sir Francis Russell, 2nd Bt. and Catherine Wheatley, on 10 May 1653.1,3 He died on 23 March 1674 at age 46 at Wicken, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG.1,3
He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland.1
He had 4 other sons (who all died without issue) and two daughters.1

Elizabeth Cromwell was born on 2 July 1629 at St. John’s, Huntingdonshire, EnglandG.1 She was the daughter of Oliver Cromwell and Elizabeth Bouchier.1 She married Sir John Cleypole, 1st Bt., son of John Cleypole and Mary Angell, on 13 February 1645/46 at Trinity Church, Ely, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG.1 She died on 6 August 1658 at age 29 at Hampton Court, London, EnglandG.4 She was buried on 10 August 1658 at Henry VII’s Chapel, Westminster, London, EnglandG.4
From 13 February 1645/46, her married name became Cleypole.1

Sir John Cleypole, 1st Bt.1 
He was admitted to Gray’s Inn on 30 June 1651.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Carmarthenshire from 1654 to 1655.1 He was commander of the a Troop of Horse to oppose King Charles II’s march in England.1 He held the office of a Lord of the Bedchamber to the Protector.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Northamptonshire between 1656 and 1658.1 He was appointed Knight on 16 July 1657.1 He was created 1st Baronet Cleypole [England] on 20 July 1657, created by Oliver, Lord Protector.1 After 1660 his title was disallowed after the Restoration.1 On 5 June 1660 he signed a declaration of allegiance to the King.2 He lived at Norborough, Peterborough, Northamptonshire, EnglandG.1

Frances Cromwell was born in 1638.3 She was the daughter of Oliver Cromwell and Elizabeth Bouchier.1,3 She married, firstly, Robert Rich, son of Robert Rich, 3rd Earl of Warwick and Lady Anne Cavendish.3 She married, secondly, Sir John Russell, 3rd Bt., son of Sir Francis Russell, 2nd Bt. and Catherine Wheatley, on 7 May 1663 at Chippenham, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG.4 She died in 1720.3
Her married name became Rich.3 From 7 May 1663, her married name became Russell.3
