     Brigadier James Elliot Snow lived at Echo Barn, Farnham, Surrey, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Brigadier in the Royal Army Medical Corps.¹ He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.)¹

     Josephine Grace Ball was born on 5 July 1947.¹ She is the daughter of Peter Halley Ball and Mary Le Geyt Pearson.¹

     Colonel Randal Gresley Ball was born on 23 July 1881.¹ He was the son of Sir Robert Stawell Ball and Frances Elizabeth Steele.¹ He married Evelyn Iris Holmes, daughter of Sir Robert Holmes, on 8 July 1914.¹ He died on 2 August 1934 at age 53.¹
     He gained the rank of Colonel in the Inniskilling Fusiliers.¹ He fought in the First World War, where he was wounded.¹

     Evelyn Iris Holmes was the daughter of Sir Robert Holmes.¹ She married Colonel Randal Gresley Ball, son of Sir Robert Stawell Ball and Frances Elizabeth Steele, on 8 July 1914.¹ She died on 3 July 1953.¹
     From 8 July 1914, her married name became Ball.¹
