     He was educated at U.S.A.G.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Yorkshire Yeomanry.1 He lived in 2003 at The Homestead, Killinghall, Harrogate, Yorkshire, North Riding, EnglandG.1 He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Aykroyd, of Lightcliffe, co. Yorks [U.K., 1920] on 18 July 2007.3
