     Colonel Harold Hammond Aykroyd was born on 7 April 1896.¹ He was the son of Sir William Henry Aykroyd, 1st Bt. and Emma Louisa Hammond.¹ He married, firstly, Nina Marguerite Hulse, daughter of Edward John Hulse, on 14 December 1926.¹ He and Nina Marguerite Hulse were divorced in 1938.¹ He married, secondly, Kathleen Ellen Tyrrell-Gray, daughter of Harry Tyrrell-Gray, on 29 December 1941.¹ He died on 6 January 1974 at age 77.¹

     Nina Marguerite Hulse is the daughter of Edward John Hulse.¹ She married Colonel Harold Hammond Aykroyd, son of Sir William Henry Aykroyd, 1st Bt. and Emma Louisa Hammond, on 14 December 1926.¹ She and Colonel Harold Hammond Aykroyd were divorced in 1938.¹
     From 14 December 1926, her married name became Aykroyd.¹
