Sir Joseph Ashe, 1st Bt. was born in 1618.1 He was the son of James Ashe and Grace Pitt.1 He married Mary Wilson, daughter of Robert Wilson and Katharine Rudd, before 1658.1 He died on 15 April 1686.1 He was buried on 21 April 1686 at Twickenham, London, EnglandG.1 His will was proven (by probate) on 21 April 1686.1
He was created 1st Baronet Ashe, of Tittenham, co. Middlesex [England] on 19 September 1660.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Heytesbury in 1661.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Downton between December 1670 and 1681.1 He lived at Twickenham, London, EnglandG.1 His last will was dated 17 March 1685.

Mary Wilson was born in 1632.2 She was the daughter of Robert Wilson and Katharine Rudd.1 She married Sir Joseph Ashe, 1st Bt., son of James Ashe and Grace Pitt, before 1658.1 She died on 27 November 1705.1 She was buried on 8 December 1705.1 Her will was proven (by probate) on 4 January 1705/6.1
From before 1658, her married name became Ashe.1 Her last will was dated 19 October 1702.
