He graduated from Clare Hall, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, with a Bachelor of Divinity (B.D.)1 He held the office of Prebendary and Chancellor of Chichester between 1795 and 1854.1 He was the Rector at Guestling, Sussex, EnglandG.1 He was the Vicar between 1816 and 1854 at Pevensey, Sussex, EnglandG.1 He succeeded as the 7th Baronet Ashburnham, of Bromham [in Guestling], Sussex [E., 1661] on 23 March 1843.1 He lived at Guestling, Sussex, EnglandG.1

Sir Anchitel Ashburnham, 8th Bt.1 
He succeeded as the 8th Baronet Ashburnham, of Bromham [in Guestling], Sussex [E., 1661] on 1 September 1854.1 On 26 June 1858 he was found by the House of Lords to be a coheir to the Barony of Grandison [1299], in a third part.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)2 He was a land agent for the Battle Abbey and Normanhurst estates in Sussex.1 He lived at Bromham, Sussex, EnglandG.1

He was given the name of Anchitel Ashburnham at birth.1 In 1899 his name was legally changed to Anchitel Ashburnham-Clement by Royal Licence.1 He succeeded as the 9th Baronet Ashburnham, of Bromham [in Guestling], Sussex [E., 1661] on 2 December 1899.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)2
