     Marianne Anstruther was the daughter of Sir John Anstruther of that Ilk, 4th and 1st Bt. and Maria Isabella Brice.¹ She married James Anstruther on 27 March 1828.¹ She died on 19 June 1859.¹

     James Anstruther was born before 1813. He married Marianne Anstruther, daughter of Sir John Anstruther of that Ilk, 4th and 1st Bt. and Maria Isabella Brice, on 27 March 1828.¹

     Colonel Robert Anstruther was born on 31 December 1757.¹ He was the son of Sir John Anstruther of that Ilk, 2nd Bt. and Janet Fall.¹ He married Anne Nairne, daughter of Colonel Alexander Nairne of Drumkilbo and Preston Balnaves, on 9 May 1801.¹ He died on 7 March 1833 at age 75.²
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Anstruther-Easter.¹ He gained the rank of Colonel in the 68th Regiment.¹

     Anne Nairne was born in 1782.² She was the daughter of Colonel Alexander Nairne of Drumkilbo and Preston Balnaves.^1,3 She married Colonel Robert Anstruther, son of Sir John Anstruther of that Ilk, 2nd Bt. and Janet Fall, on 9 May 1801.¹ She died on 27 September 1804.¹
     From 9 May 1801, her married name became Anstruther.¹

     Colonel Alexander Nairne of Drumkilbo is the son of David Nairne of Drumkilbo and Susan Lyon.² He married Preston Balnaves, daughter of John Balnaves and Preston Durham.³

     Philip Anstruther was born on 26 May 1802.¹ He was the son of Colonel Robert Anstruther and Anne Nairne.¹ He married Mary Frances Stewart-Mackenzie, daughter of Rt. Hon. James Alexander Stewart-Mackenzie and Hon. Mary Frederica Elizabeth Mackenzie, on 27 July 1838.¹ He died on 22 May 1862 at age 59.¹
     He held the office of Colonial Secretary of Ceylon.¹

     Mary Frances Stewart-Mackenzie was born on 16 November 1819.³ She was the daughter of Rt. Hon. James Alexander Stewart-Mackenzie and Hon. Mary Frederica Elizabeth Mackenzie.^1,4 She married Philip Anstruther, son of Colonel Robert Anstruther and Anne Nairne, on 27 July 1838.¹ She died on 31 December 1913 at age 94.¹
     From 27 July 1838, her married name became Anstruther.¹

     Captain Robert Durham Anstruther was born on 11 May 1841.¹ He was the son of Philip Anstruther and Mary Frances Stewart-Mackenzie.¹ He married Florence Sophia Wise, daughter of F. Wise, on 7 May 1864.¹ He died on 9 March 1890 at age 48.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 106th Regiment.¹ He was Governor of Pentonville Prison.¹

     Florence Sophia Wise was the daughter of F. Wise.¹ She married Captain Robert Durham Anstruther, son of Philip Anstruther and Mary Frances Stewart-Mackenzie, on 7 May 1864.¹ She died on 1 April 1932.¹
     From 7 May 1864, her married name became Anstruther.¹
