     Walter Chidiock Nangle married Alicia Almira Seymour Bell, daughter of R. H. Bell, on 28 August 1883.¹

     Rt. Hon. James Alexander Stewart-Mackenzie was born on 23 September 1784.³ He was the son of Admiral Hon. Keith Stewart and Georgiana Isabella d‘Aguilar.³ He was baptised on 18 October 1784.⁴ He married Hon. Mary Frederica Elizabeth Mackenzie, daughter of Lt.-Gen. Francis Humberston Mackenzie, 1st and last Lord Seaforth, Baron Mackenzie of Kintail and Mary Proby, on 21 May 1817.¹ He died on 24 September 1843 at age 59.³
     He was given the name of James Alexander Stewart at birth.¹ In 1817 his name was legally changed to James Alexander Stewart-Mackenzie by Royal Licence.³ He held the office of Governor of Ceylon.¹ He held the office of Lord High Commissioner of the Ionian Islands.¹ He lived at Glasserton, Wigtownshire, Scotland^G.¹ He had another son, who died without issue.³

     Hon. Mary Frederica Elizabeth Mackenzie was born on 27 March 1783.³ She was the daughter of Lt.-Gen. Francis Humberston Mackenzie, 1st and last Lord Seaforth, Baron Mackenzie of Kintail and Mary Proby.^1,3 She married, firstly, Vice-Admiral Sir Samuel Hood, 1st Bt., son of Samuel Hood and Anne Bere, on 6 November 1804 at St. Michael, Barbados.^3,4 She married, secondly, Rt. Hon. James Alexander Stewart-Mackenzie, son of Admiral Hon. Keith Stewart and Georgiana Isabella d‘Aguilar, on 21 May 1817.³ She died on 28 November 1862 at age 79.³
     From 6 November 1804, her married name became Hood.³ From 22 May 1817, her married name became Stewart-Mackenzie.

     Lt.-Gen. Francis Humberston Mackenzie, 1st and last Lord Seaforth, Baron Mackenzie of Kintail was born on 9 June 1754.¹ He was the son of Major William Mackenzie and Mary Humberston.¹ He married Mary Proby, daughter of Very Rev. Baptist Proby and Mary Russell, on 22 April 1782.¹ He died on 11 January 1815 at age 60, without surviving male issue.¹
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Ross-shire between 1784 and 1790.¹ He was Lieutenant-Colonel of the 78th Foot (Ross-shire Buffs) between 1793 and 1796.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Ross-shire between 1794 and 1796.¹ He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of Ross-shire between 1794 and 1815.¹ He was created 1st Lord Seaforth, Baron Mackenzie of Kintail, co. Ross [Great Britain] on 26 October 1797.¹ He gained the rank of Colonel in 1798 in the 2nd North British Militia.¹ He held the office of Governor of Barbados between 1800 and 1806.¹ He gained the rank of Major-General in 1802.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-General in 1808.¹
     On his death, his titles (including Jacobite ones) became extinct.¹

     Admiral Hon. Keith Stewart was born in 1739.¹ He was the son of Alexander Stewart, 6th Earl of Galloway and Lady Catherine Cochrane.¹ He married Georgiana Isabella d‘Aguilar, daughter of Baron Ephraim López Pereira d‘Aguilar and Sarah Mendez da Costa, on 13 May 1782 at St. Mary, St. Marylebone, London, England.^1,3 He died on 5 May 1795.¹
     He gained the rank of Admiral in the Royal Navy.⁴ He lived at Glasserton, Wigtownshire, Scotland^G.¹

     Georgiana Isabella d‘Aguilar was born in 1759.³ She was the daughter of Baron Ephraim López Pereira d‘Aguilar and Sarah Mendez da Costa.^1,4 She married, firstly, Admiral Hon. Keith Stewart, son of Alexander Stewart, 6th Earl of Galloway and Lady Catherine Cochrane, on 13 May 1782 at St. Mary, St. Marylebone, London, England.^1,3 She married, secondly, Lt.-Col. Richard FitzGerald on 16 February 1797.¹ She died in 1821.³
     From 13 May 1782, her married name became Stewart. From 16 February 1797, her married name became FitzGerald.

     Baron Ephraim López Pereira d‘Aguilar was born in 1739 at Vienna, Austria^G.^1,2 He was the son of Baron Diego López d‘Aguilar and Donna Simha da Fonseca.¹ He married, firstly, Sarah Mendez da Costa, daughter of Moses Mendez da Costa, in 1749.¹ He married, secondly, Rebecca Lamego in 1767.¹ He died on 16 March 1802 at Shaftesbury Place, Aldersgate, London, England^G.¹
     He was naturalized as a British citizen in 1759.¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Baron d’Aguilar [Holy Roman Empire, 1726] in 1759.¹

     Lt.-Col. Richard FitzGerald was born in 1774.² He married Georgiana Isabella d‘Aguilar, daughter of Baron Ephraim López Pereira d‘Aguilar and Sarah Mendez da Costa, on 16 February 1797.¹ He died on 18 June 1815 at Waterloo, Belgium^G, killed in action.¹
     He was commissioned in 1795 with the rank of Ensign, in the service of the Colonel Podmore’s Regment.² He gained the rank of Lieutenant in 1796 in the 34th (Cumberland) Regiment of Foot.² He gained the rank of Captain in 1797 in the 68th (Durham) Regimetn of Foot.² He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 2nd Life Guards.¹ He gained the rank of Brevet Major in 1812.² He fought in the Battle of Waterloo on 18 June 1815.¹

     William Montagu Hay, 10th Marquess of Tweeddale was born on 27 January 1826.¹ He was the son of Field Marshal George Hay, 8th Marquess of Tweeddale and Lady Susan Montagu.¹ He married Candida Louise Bartolucci, daughter of Vincenzo Bartolucci and Clementina Dundas, on 18 May 1878.¹ He died on 25 November 1911 at age 85.¹
     He was educated at Haileybury College, Haileybury, Hertfordshire, England^G.¹ He was with the Bengal Civil Service between 1845 and 1862.¹ He was District Commissioner of Simla.¹ He was Superintendent of the Hill States, North India.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Liberal) for Taunton between 1865 and 1868.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Berwickshire.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Liberal) for Haddington between August 1878 and December 1878.¹ He succeeded as the 10th Viscount of Walden [S., 1694] on 29 December 1878.¹ He succeeded as the 10th Earl of Gifford [S., 1694] on 29 December 1878.¹ He succeeded as the 10th Marquess of Tweeddale [S., 1694] on 29 December 1878.¹ He succeeded as the 11th Earl of Tweeddale [S., 1646] on 29 December 1878.¹ He succeeded as the 18th Lord Hay of Yester [S., 1488] on 29 December 1878.¹ He was created 1st Baron Tweeddale of Yester, co.      Candida Louise Bartolucci was born on 3 May 1854.² She was the daughter of Vincenzo Bartolucci and Clementina Dundas.^1,2 She married William Montagu Hay, 10th Marquess of Tweeddale, son of Field Marshal George Hay, 8th Marquess of Tweeddale and Lady Susan Montagu, on 18 May 1878.¹ She died on 14 February 1925 at age 70.¹
     From 18 May 1878, her married name became Hay. After her marriage, Candida Louise Bartolucci was styled as Marchioness of Tweeddale on 29 December 1878. She was awarded the Order of Merit, Italian Red Cross.¹ She was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1920.¹
