     Gertrude Christina Anson was the daughter of Sir John William Hamilton Anson, 2nd Bt. and Elizabeth Catherine Pack.¹ She died on 22 February 1937, unmarried.¹

     Janet Katharine Olive Anson was the daughter of Sir John William Hamilton Anson, 2nd Bt. and Elizabeth Catherine Pack.² She married Herbert Elphinstone Montgomery, son of Captain Thomas Henry Montgomery and Hon. Anna Maria Elphinstone, on 5 December 1899.² She died on 22 June 1937.¹
     From 5 December 1899, her married name became Montgomery.²

     Herbert Elphinstone Montgomery was born on 2 May 1861.² He was the son of Captain Thomas Henry Montgomery and Hon. Anna Maria Elphinstone.^1,2 He married Janet Katharine Olive Anson, daughter of Sir John William Hamilton Anson, 2nd Bt. and Elizabeth Catherine Pack, on 5 December 1899.¹ He died on 24 February 1943 at age 81.²

     Captain Thomas Henry Montgomery was born on 21 August 1828.² He was the son of Sir James Montgomery, 2nd Bt. and Helen Graham.² He married Hon. Anna Maria Elphinstone, daughter of Lt.-Col. James Drummond Buller-Fullerton-Elphinstone and Anna Maria Buller, on 4 March 1857.² He died on 20 January 1879 at age 50.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 42nd Highlanders.² He lived at Hattonburn, Kinross-shire, Scotland^G.¹

     Frances Alison Pollock was the daughter of Hugh Pollock and Alice Wykeham-Martin.^1,2 She married Sir Edward Reynell Anson, 6th Bt., son of Rear-Admiral Algernon Horatio Anson and Hon. Adela Venables-Vernon, on 17 October 1923.¹ She died on 29 April 1997.¹
     From 17 October 1923, her married name became Anson.¹

     Hugh Pollock was born on 15 January 1859.² He was the son of George David Pollock and Marianne Charity Saunders.² He married Alice Wykeham-Martin, daughter of Commander Cornwallis Wykeham-Martin, on 8 June 1898.² He died in 1944.²
     He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)² He was a practising barrister.² He was Assistant Registrar, Land Registry between 1898 and 1921.²

     Sir John Anson was born on 3 August 1930.¹ He is the son of Sir Edward Reynell Anson, 6th Bt. and Frances Alison Pollock.¹ He married Myrica Fergie-Woods, daughter of Dr. Harold Fergie-Woods, on 20 July 1957.¹
     He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England^G.¹ He graduated from Magdalene College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, in 1953 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He was in the Treasury in 1954.¹ He graduated from Magdalene College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, in 1959 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1981.¹ He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.) in 1990.¹

     Myrica Fergie-Woods is the daughter of Dr. Harold Fergie-Woods.¹ She married Sir John Anson, son of Sir Edward Reynell Anson, 6th Bt. and Frances Alison Pollock, on 20 July 1957.¹
     From 20 July 1957, her married name became Anson.¹

     Dr. Harold Fergie-Woods lived at Beech Court, Liphook, Hampshire, England^G.¹

     Dr. Christopher Anson was born on 22 May 1958.¹ He is the son of Sir John Anson and Myrica Fergie-Woods.¹ He married Dr. Susan Melanie Robinson, daughter of Derek Robinson, in 1986.¹
     He graduated with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He graduated with a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.)¹
