     Elizabeth Amcotts was born on 24 June 1763 at Kettlethorpe Park, Kettlethorpe, Lincolnshire, England.2 She was the daughter of Sir Wharton Amcotts, 1st Bt. and Anna Maria Amcotts.1 She married Sir John Ingilby, 1st Bt., son of Sir John Ingilby, 4th Bt. and Ann Riggs, on 25 October 1780.2 She died on 21 September 1812 at age 49.1
     From 25 October 1780, her married name became Ingilby.2

     Sir John Ingilby, 1st Bt. was born illegitimately on 9 May 1758 at Ripley Castle, Yorkshire, England.2,3 He was the son of Sir John Ingilby, 4th Bt. and Ann Riggs.2,4 He married Elizabeth Amcotts, daughter of Sir Wharton Amcotts, 1st Bt. and Anna Maria Amcotts, on 25 October 1780.3 He died on 13 May 1815 at age 57.1
     He was created 1st Baronet Ingilby, of Ripley, co. Yorks [Great Britain] in 1781.1

Sir William Amcotts-Ingilby, 2nd Bt.1

     Sir William Amcotts-Ingilby, 2nd Bt. was born on 20 June 1783 at Ripley, Yorkshire, EnglandG.1 He was the son of Sir John Ingilby, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Amcotts.1 He died on 14 May 1854 at age 70, without issue.1
     He was given the name of William Ingilby at birth.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Amcotts, of Kettlethopre Park, co. Lincoln [G.B., 1796] on 26 September 1807.1 On 21 September 1812 his name was legally changed to William Amcotts-Ingilby.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Ingilby, of Ripley, co. Yorks [G.B., 1781] on 13 May 1815.1
     On his death, both of his baronetcies became extinct.1
