     Rachel Howland was the daughter of Michael Howland and Hannah Coldham.^1,2 She married Sir George Beaumont, 6th Bt., son of William Beaumont and Elizabeth Jordain, on 26 March 1751 at St. John’s Church, Clerkenwell, London, England^G.^1,2 She died on 5 May 1814.¹ She was buried at Dunmow, Essex, England^G.² Her will (dated 17 Febuary 1812) was proven (by probate) on 16 June 1814.²
     From 26 March 1751, her married name became Beaumont.¹

     Michael Howland lived at Stonehall, Great Dunmow, Essex, England^G.¹ He was also known as Matthew.²

     Sir George Howland Beaumont, 7th Bt. was born on 6 November 1753.¹ He was the son of Sir George Beaumont, 6th Bt. and Rachel Howland.¹ He was baptised on 17 December 1753 at Dunmow, Essex, England^G.³ He married Margaret Willes, daughter of John Willes and Frances Freke, on 6 May 1778.¹ He died on 7 February 1827 at age 73 at Cole Orton Hall, Leicestershire, England^G, without issue.^1,3 His will was proven (by probate) on 24 March 1827.³
     He succeeded as the 7th Baronet Beaumont, of Stoughton Grange, co. Leicester [E., 1661] on 4 February 1762.¹ He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.³ He matriculated at New College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, on 4 May 1772.³ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Beeralston between 1790 and 1796.¹ He was appointed Fellow, Society of Antiquaries (F.S.A.)¹ He graduated with a Doctor of Civil Laws (D.C.L.)¹ He was a Trustee of the British Museum.¹ He was a founder of the National Gallery.¹ He was a painter and patron of the arts.¹ His last will was dated 26 August 1824. He lived at Great Dunmow, Essex, England^G.³ He lived at Cole Orton, Leicestershire, England^G.³

     Margaret Willes was born circa 1766.² She was the daughter of John Willes and Frances Freke.^1,2 She married Sir George Howland Beaumont, 7th Bt., son of Sir George Beaumont, 6th Bt. and Rachel Howland, on 6 May 1778.¹ She died on 14 July 1829 at Cole Orton Hall, Leicestershire, England^G.^1,2 Her will was proven (by probate) in October 1829.²
     From 6 May 1778, her married name became Beaumont.¹

     John Willes is the son of Sir John Willes.¹

     Thomas Beaumont was the son of Thomas Beaumont.¹ He married Bridget Davie, daughter of Reverend William Davie and Bridget Bertie, on 29 January 1799.¹ He died circa January 1818.¹ He was buried on 3 February 1818.¹
     He lived at Buckland, Surrey, England^G.¹

     Bridget Davie was the daughter of Reverend William Davie and Bridget Bertie.^1,2 She married Thomas Beaumont, son of Thomas Beaumont, on 29 January 1799.¹ She died on 16 April 1842.¹
     From 29 January 1799, her married name became Beaumont.¹

     Reverend William Davie was baptised on 10 December 1734.² He was the son of Sir John Davie, 6th Bt. and Elizabeth Acland.³ He married Bridget Bertie, daughter of John Bertie.² He died in 1778.²
     He graduated from Brasenose College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, in 1760 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)² He was the Rector at Exminster, Devon, England^G.² He held the office of Prebendary of Exeter in 1777.²
