     He fought in the First World War.² He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Grenadier Guards.² He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)¹

Diana Julia Maugham was born on 16 September 1908 at Cadogan Square, London, England^G.² She was the daughter of Frederick Herbert Maugham, 1st Viscount Maugham and Helen Mary Romer.¹ She married Kenneth Marr-Johnson, son of Bernard Marr-Johnson and Blanche Lilian Freshfield, on 30 January 1932.¹ She died on 14 June 2007 at age 98 at London, England^G.²
     From 30 January 1932, her married name became Marr-Johnson.¹ She wrote the book Rhapsody in Gold, published 1935.² She wrote the book Bella North, published 1954.² She wrote the book Goodnight Pelican, published 1957.² She wrote the book Faces of a Stranger, published 1963.² She wrote the book Faces My Fortune, published 1970.² She wrote the book Take a Golden Spoon, published 1972.² She wrote the book Three for a Wedding, published 1975.²

     Kenneth Marr-Johnson was the son of Bernard Marr-Johnson and Blanche Lilian Freshfield.² He married Hon. Diana Julia Maugham, daughter of Frederick Herbert Maugham, 1st Viscount Maugham and Helen Mary Romer, on 30 January 1932.¹ He died in 1986.³
     He lived in 1949 at Boxley House, Maidstone, Kent, England^G.¹ He lived in 1949 at 13 Margaretta Terrace, London, England^G.¹

     Sir Thomas Hyde, 2nd Bt. was the son of Sir Nicholas Hyde, 1st Bt. and Bridget Sandys. He married Mary Whitchurch, daughter of John Whitchurch.² He died in 1665.³
     He gained the title of 2nd Baronet Hyde, of Albury, co. Hertford [E.].¹
