John Beauchamp, 1st Lord Beauchamp (of Warwick)1 
In 1338 he attended the King into Flanders.1 He fought in the Battle of Sluys in 1340.1 He fought in the Battle of Crécy on 26 August 1346, where he carried the Standard-Royal.1 He was appointed Knight, Order of the Garter (K.G.) in 1348.1,2 He was Admiral of the Fleet off Calais in 1349.1 He was appointed Knight Banneret in March 1348/49.3 On 1 March 1348/49 he was advanced to the degree of Banneret.1 He was created 1st Lord Beauchamp, of Warwick [England by writ] on 25 November 1350.1 He held the office of Admiral for the Western Seas in 1355.1 He held the office of Captain of Calais on 14 January 1354/55.1 He held the office of Admiral for the North, South and West between July 1360 and December 1360.1
On his death, his title became extinct.1
