Scrope Arthur Francis Sutherland Egerton was born on 12 June 1902.² He was the son of Major Claude Francis Arthur Egerton and Alexandra Elizabeth Ritchie.² He married Marjorie Morrison, daughter of Hugh Morrison and Lady Sophia Castelia Mary Leveson-Gower, on 16 January 1933.² He died in 1986.²
