     He graduated from U.S. Naval Academy, Annapolis, Maryland, U.S.A.G, in 1940.2 He fought in the Second World War.2 He was awarded the Bronze Star.2 He was awarded the Legion of Merit.2 He fought in the Vietnam War.2 He gained the rank of Brigadier-General in the U.S. Marine Corps.3
