     She fought in the Second World War, in theFirst Aid Nursing Yeomanry.1 From 1 August 1946, her married name became Bailward.1 She lived in 1999 at Causeway House, Radipole, Dorset, EnglandG.1

     James Tennant Bailward was born in 1919.2 He was the son of Commander Maurice William Bailward.1 He married Hon. Diana Penelope Florence Sclater-Booth, daughter of Lt.-Col. John Limbrey Robert Sclater-Booth, 3rd Baron Basing of Basin Byflete and of Hoddington and Mary Alice Erle Benson, on 1 August 1946.1 He died in 2006.2
     He was in the Colonial Service between 1940 and 1958.1
