Sir Francis Anderton, 6th Bt.1 
In 1715 he joined the Stuart uprising, and was convicted of high treason, forfeiting the Lostock estate.1 He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Anderton, of Lostock, co. Lancaster [E., 1677] on 4 October 1724, although he wrngly assumed the title in 1710, on the death of his brother James.1
On his death, his baronetcy became extinct.1
