Marguerite von Bayern-Straubing1 

Marguerite von Bayern-Straubing was born in 1363 at The Hague, The Netherlands.1 She was the daughter of Albrecht I Herzog von Bayern-Straubing Comte de Hainaut et Graaf van Holland en Zeeland and Margareta von Schlesien-Liegnitz.3 She married Jean I de Valois, Duc de Bourgogne, son of Philippe II de Valois, Duc de Bourgogne and Marguerite de Flandre, Comtesse de Flandre, on 9 April 1385 at Cambrai, FranceG.4 She died on 23 January 1423 at Dijon, France.4

Jacqueline von Bayern-Straubing, Comtesse de Hainaut et Gravin van Holland en Zeeland was born on 16 July 1401 at Le Quesnoy, France.3,4 She was the daughter of Wilhelm IV Herzog von Bayern-Straubing Comte de Hainaut et Graaf van Holland en Zeeland and Marguerite de Bourgogne.1 She married, firstly, Jean de Viennois, Dauphin de France in July 1406.3 She married, secondly, Jean IV de Valois, Duc de Brabant, son of Antoine de Valois, Duc de Brabant and Jeanne de Luxembourg, on 10 March 1418.3 She married, thirdly, Humphrey Plantagenet, Duke of Gloucester, son of Henry IV, King of England and Lady Mary de Bohun, before 7 March 1422/23.3 She and Humphrey Plantagenet, Duke of Gloucester were divorced on 9 July 1428 by Papal Decree, pronouncing as valid her marriage to John IV of Brabant.3 She married, fourthly, Frank II van Borselen Heer van St. Maartensdijk en Zuylen, Graaf van Oostervant, son of Floris II van Borselen Heer van St. Maartensdijk en Zuylen and Oda van Boutershem, in July 1432 at Oostende, BelgiumG.3 She died on 8 October 1436 at age 35 at Schloss Teilingen, Leyden, The NetherlandsG.3 She was buried at The Hague, The NetherlandsG.3
She succeeded as the Herzogin von Bayern in 1417.3 She succeeded as the Gravin van Holland en Zeeland in 1417.5 She succeeded as the Comtesse de Hainaut in 1417. Her marriage to Jean IV de Valois, Duc de Brabant was annulled in 1421/22 by the Anti-Pope, Benedict XIII.3 She was appointed Lady Companion, Order of the Garter (L.G.) in 1423.3 She was deposed as Countess of all of her territories except Ostrevant by the Duke of Burgundy in 1433.3
