He was the son of Prince Mikhail Sergeiyevitch Poutiatine.3 He married Shirley Manning.3 He married Mariya Pavlovna Romanov, Grand Duchess of Russia, daughter of Pavel Aleksandrovich Romanov, Grand Duke of Russia and Alexandra zu Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glücksburg, Princess of Greece and Denmark, on 6 September 1917 at Pavlovsk, RussiaG. He and Mariya Pavlovna Romanov, Grand Duchess of Russia were divorced after 1918.4 He died on 26 February 1966 at age 72 at Charlestown, South Carolina, U.S.A.G.
