     Sir William Norreys is the son of Sir John Norreys and Alice Merbrooke.2 He married, secondly, Joane de Vere, daughter of John de Vere, 12th Earl of Oxford and Elizabeth Howard.2 He married, thirdly, Anne Horne, daughter of Sir John Horne.2 He married, firstly, Isabel Ingaldesthorpe, daughter of Sir Edmund Ingaldesthorpe and Joan Tiptoft, on 25 April 1472.1
     He was commander troops for HENRY VII Battle of against Lambert Simnel and his followers Stoke 1487.2 He held the office of Knight of the Body to King Edward IV.2 In 1484 he was attainted.1 He lived at Yattendon, Berkshire, EnglandG.2 In 1504 granted the Manor of Langley, also stewardship of several other manors in Oxon.2 He had a son and three daughters by his second wife.2

     Margaret Prideaux was the daughter of Edmund Prideaux and Margaret Ivery.1,2 She married Reverend Sir Thomas Chamberlayne, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Thomas Chamberlayne, 1st Bt., on 8 April 1657 at St. Dionis Backchurch, Fenchurch Street, London, EnglandG.3
     From 8 April 1657, her married name became Chamberlayne.
