Inigo Brassey Freeman-Thomas, 2nd Marquess of Willingdon was born on 25 July 1899.2 He was the son of Freeman Freeman-Thomas, 1st Marquess of Willingdon and Lady Marie Adelaide Brassey.2 He married, firstly, Maxine Frances Mary Forbes-Robertson, daughter of Sir Johnston Forbes-Robertson and May Gertrude Dermot, on 8 October 1924.2 He and Maxine Frances Mary Forbes-Robertson were divorced in 1932.2 He married, secondly, Mary Gwendoline Foster, daughter of Basil Samuel Foster, on 6 June 1934.2 He and Mary Gwendoline Foster were divorced in 1939.2 He married, thirdly, Daphne Caldwell, daughter of Seymour Caldwell, on 9 June 1943.2 He died on 19 March 1979 at age 79.3
He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.2 He gained the rank of Squadron Leader in the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve.2 He succeeded as the 2nd Baron Willingdon, of Ratton, co. Sussex [U.K., 1910] on 12 August 1941.4 He succeeded as the 2nd Viscount Ratendone, of Willingdon, co. Sir Johnston Forbes-Robertson was born on 16 January 1853 at London, EnglandG.1 He was the son of John Forbes-Robertson.1 He married May Gertrude Dermot, daughter of Thomas Dermot, in 1900. He died on 6 November 1937 at age 84 at St. Margaret’s Bay, Dover, Kent, EnglandG.1

Mary Gwendoline Foster was the daughter of Basil Samuel Foster.2 She married, secondly, Frederick Robert Cullingford.3 She married, thirdly, Brigadier Donald Croft-Wilcock.3 She married, firstly, Inigo Brassey Freeman-Thomas, 2nd Marquess of Willingdon, son of Freeman Freeman-Thomas, 1st Marquess of Willingdon and Lady Marie Adelaide Brassey, on 6 June 1934.4 She and Inigo Brassey Freeman-Thomas, 2nd Marquess of Willingdon were divorced in 1939.4 She married, fourthly, Sir Dudley Richard Forwood, 3rd Bt., son of Sir Dudley Baines Forwood, 2nd Bt. and Norah Isabella Lockett, on 27 May 1952.3 She died on 1 May 1999.3
Her married name became Cullingford.3 Her married name became Croft-Wilcock.3 From 6 June 1934, her married name became Freeman-Thomas. After her marriage, Mary Gwendoline Foster was styled as Marchioness of Willingdon on 12 August 1941. From 27 May 1952, her married name became Forwood.
