     Colonel Loudoun Francis Campbell was born on 2 January 1842.¹ He was the son of John Campbell, 3rd of Ardnamurchan and Hannah Elizabeth Macleod.¹ He died on 3 October 1899 at age 57, unmarried.¹
     He gained the rank of Colonel in the Madras Army.¹

     Donald Maclaine Campbell was born on 18 November 1869.¹ He was the son of Colonel Frederick Campbell and Emilie Guillaumine Maclaine.¹ He married Mathilde Marie Isabelle Smissaert, daughter of Marien John Smissaert, on 26 May 1897.¹ He died on 1 June 1913 at age 43.¹

     Mathilde Marie Isabelle Smissaert is the daughter of Marien John Smissaert.¹ She married Donald Maclaine Campbell, son of Colonel Frederick Campbell and Emilie Guillaumine Maclaine, on 26 May 1897.¹
     From 26 May 1897, her married name became Campbell.¹

     Marien John Smissaert lived at The Hague, The Netherlands.¹
