     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 8th Battalion, Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders.² He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.) in 1927.² He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1927.²

     From 28 January 1904, her married name became Campbell.¹ She was appointed Dame of Grace, Order of St. John of Jerusalem (D.G.St.J.)²

     Sir Charles Duncan Macnair Campbell, 2nd Bt. usually went by his middle name of Duncan.² He was educated at Dulwich College, London, England.² He graduated from Pembroke College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1928 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)² He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in the Honourable Artillery Company.² He graduated from Pembroke College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1933 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)² He was manager of Caledonian Gas Corporation Ltd between 1937 and 1944.² He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Campbell, of Airds Bay [U.K., 1939] on 17 July 1945.² On his death, his baronetcy became extinct.²

     Alexander McNeill Walter was born on 12 May 1875 at Calcutta, India.¹ He married Florence Ruth Gisella Downing.¹ He died on 12 February 1936 at age 60 at Hazaribagh, India.¹
