     George Jordan Harries was born on 27 September 1815 at Mathry, Pembrokeshire, Wales.¹ He married Susanna Caroline Skrine, daughter of Henry Skrine and Caroline Anne Spry, on 27 February 1840 at All Saints Church, Bisham, Berkshire, England.¹ He died on 8 August 1865 at age 49 at Weston-super-Mare, Somerset, England.¹

     Emily Mary Hanning was born on 8 November 1852 at Green Street, Grosvenor Square, London, England.¹ She was the daughter of James Hanning and Frances Catherine Skrine.¹ She died on 31 May 1930 at age 77 at Bath, Somerset, England.¹

     Colonel Thomas Stirling Begbie was born on 18 October 1782 at Berwick-upon-Tweed, Northumberland, England.¹ He was the son of James Begbie and Elizabeth Stirling.¹ He married Mary Hamilton Baillie.¹ He died in September 1872 at age 89 at Kensington, London, England.¹
     He gained the rank of Colonel in the 44th Regiment.²
