     Sir John Tankerville Goldney was born on 15 June 1846 at Pickwick, Corsham, Wiltshire, England.¹ He was the son of Sir Gabriel Goldney, 1st Bt. and Mary Anne Alexander.^1,2 He married, firstly, Jane Macgregor Laird, daughter of John Laird and Elizabeth Hurry, on 9 February 1875 at Parish Church, Birkenhead, Cheshire, England.¹ He married, secondly, Alice Frances Goldney, daughter of Major Frederick Charles Napier Goldney and Edith Caroline Wilkins, on 15 February 1913 at Ealing Parish Church, London, England.¹ He died on 11 April 1920 at age 73 at Monks Park, Corsham, Wiltshire, England.¹
     He graduated from Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)² He graduated from Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.)² He was admitted to Inner Temple in 1869 entitled to practise as a barrister-at-law.² He held the office of Attorney-General and Admiralty Advocate [Leeward Islands] between 1880 and 1881.² He held the office of Judge of the High Court [British Guinea] between 1883 and 1887.² He held the office of Judge [Straits Settlement] between 1887 and 1892.² He held the office of Chief Justice of Trinidad between 1892 and 1900.² He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Wiltshire.² He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Wiltshire.² He held the office of High Sheriff of Wiltshire in 1910.² He lived at Monks Park, Corsham, Wiltshire, England.²

     Sir Gabriel Goldney, 1st Bt. was born on 25 July 1813.² He was the son of Harry Goldney and Elizabeth Reade Burrough.² He married Mary Anne Alexander, daughter of Richard Hayward Alexander, on 16 September 1839.² He died on 8 May 1900 at age 86.³

     Mary Anne Alexander was the daughter of Richard Hayward Alexander.¹ She married Sir Gabriel Goldney, 1st Bt., son of Harry Goldney and Elizabeth Reade Burrough, on 16 September 1839.¹ She died on 23 February 1898.¹
     From 16 September 1839, her married name became Goldney.

     Joyce Harpur was the daughter of Colonel Charles Harpur.¹ She married Major Hon. George Nathaniel Rous, son of George Edward John Mowbray Rous, 3rd Earl of Stradbroke and Helena Violet Alice Fraser, on 1 September 1949.¹ She died in 1985.¹
     She held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹ From 1 September 1949, her married name became Rous.¹

     Colonel Charles Harpur lived at Benhall, Saxmundham, Suffolk, England.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹ He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.)¹

     Adrian George Warner Holloway married Helen Pendrill Charles on 31 January 1948 at St. John’s Church, Glamorgan, Wales.² He died on 4 July 2019.²

     Alice Victoria Pendrill Holloway was born in 1978.¹ She is the daughter of Charles Henry Warner Holloway and Georgina Alice Rous.¹ She married Thomas W. J. Sykes, son of Surg.-Cde. James Sykes.²
     Her married name became Sykes.²

     Veronica Rose Rous was born on 7 September 1958.¹ She is the daughter of Major Hon. George Nathaniel Rous and Joyce Harpur.¹ She married James Harry Astley Maberley, son of Lt.-Col. J. E. A. Maberley, on 2 September 1989.¹
     She was educated at Heathfield School, Ascot, Berkshire, England^G.¹ From 2 September 1989, her married name became Maberley.¹
