     Rt. Rev. Mark Rodolph Carpenter-Garnier was born on 1 January 1881 at Wickham, Hampshire, England.² He was the son of John Carpenter-Garnier and Hon. Mary Louisa Trefusis.¹ He married Eveline Egerton-Warburton, daughter of Piers Egerton-Warburton and Hon. Antoinette Elizabeth Saumarez, on 24 July 1940.¹ He died on 11 October 1969 at age 88 at Winchester, Hampshire, England.^1,2
     He held the office of Canon of Salisbury between 1938 and 1944. He graduated with a Doctor of Divinity (D.D.)¹ He held the office of Bishop of Colombo.¹

     Eveline Egerton-Warburton was the daughter of Piers Egerton-Warburton and Hon. Antoinette Elizabeth Saumarez.¹ She married Rt. Rev. Mark Rodolph Carpenter-Garnier, son of John Carpenter-Garnier and Hon. Mary Louisa Trefusis, on 24 July 1940.¹ She died on 23 November 1967, without issue.¹
     From 24 July 1940, her married name became Carpenter-Garnier.¹

     Piers Egerton-Warburton was born on 22 May 1839.² He was the son of Rowland Eyles Egerton-Warburton and Mary Brooke.² He married Hon. Antoinette Elizabeth Saumarez, daughter of Colonel John St. Vincent Saumarez, 3rd Baron de Saumarez and Margaret Antoinette Northey, on 20 September 1880.² He was also reported to have been married on 30 September 1880.² He died on 24 March 1914 at age 74.²
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.² He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)² He gained the rank of Colonel in the Earl of Chester’s Yeomanry Cavalry.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Mid-Cheshire between 1876 and 1885.² He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)² He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)² He lived at Arley Hall, Northwich, Cheshire, England^G.²

     Mary Ann Lucy Carpenter-Garnier was born on 27 September 1869. She was the daughter of John Carpenter-Garnier and Hon. Mary Louisa Trefusis.

     Evelyn Carpenter-Garnier was born on 16 April 1871. She was the daughter of John Carpenter-Garnier and Hon. Mary Louisa Trefusis.

     Adela Elizabeth Carpenter-Garnier was born on 1 February 1873 at Rookesbury, Hampshire, England.¹ She was the daughter of John Carpenter-Garnier and Hon. Mary Louisa Trefusis. She died on 18 February 1953 at age 80 at Winchester, Hampshire, England.¹

     Robert Bruce, 1st of Wester Kennet lived at Wester Kennet, Clackmannanshire, Scotland.¹

     Hon. Sholto Scott Douglas was born in 1785. He was the son of Archibald James Edward Douglas, 1st Baron Douglas of Douglas and Lady Frances Scott. He died in 1821.
