     Derek Frank Gardner married Bridget Diana Lilian Annetta Eley, daughter of Major Allan William Vaughan Eley and Diana Enid Violet Dorothea Stapleton, on 5 June 1965.¹

     Monica Stapleton was born on 3 February 1881.¹ She was the daughter of John Stapleton and Frances Dorothea King.¹ She died on 3 June 1936 at age 55, unmarried.¹

     Georgina Maria Stapleton was the daughter of John Stapleton and Frances Dorothea King.¹ She married Reverend Edwin John Frayling on 9 December 1891.¹ She died on 8 September 1922.¹
     From 9 December 1891, her married name became Frayling.¹
