     Caroline Buller was baptised on 12 August 1805 at Southampton, Hampshire, England.1 She was the daughter of Lt.-Gen. Frederick William Buller and Elizabeth Charlotte Tomkyns.1 She married George Warwick Bampfylde, 1st Baron Poltimore, son of Sir Charles Warwick Bamfylde, 5th Bt. and Catharine Moore, on 16 March 1836.2 She died on 29 May 1863 at age 57 at St. George Hanover Square, London, England.2,3
     From 16 March 1836, her married name became Bampfylde.2 After her marriage, Caroline Buller was styled as Baroness Poltimore on 16 August 1836.2
