Sir Niall O’Neill, 2nd Bt.1

He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet O’Neill, of Killeagh, co. Antrim [I., 1666] on 27 November 1671.1 He gained the rank of Captain in 1687 in the Dragoons in King James II’s army.1 He fought in the Siege of Derry.1 He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of County Antrim in 1689.1 He fought in the Battle of the Boyne.1 In 1691 he was posthumously attainted.1
